Patches from SoundEngine. We’ve recently picked up an SY77 and are highly impressed with its FM capabilities. Creating sounds using the FM engine even more powerful than that of the DX7, then having the tools of a fat, digital filter and and dual effects processor really get the creative juices flowing. These patches originated as the SoundEngine DX7 banks, which have been regarded far and wide as a group of the best commercial DX7 patches available.
Adding programming for the SY77’s low-pass filter, new variations of the patches using the new FM algorithms only available in the SY77, and just a “touch” of effects – these sounds really come alive. Targeted for the electronic keyboardist, this bank is full of comps, leads, brass, pads, and basses.
Included in this download are the .T01 ALL DATA file for the SY77, a .SYX SysEx file, compatible with the SY and TG77, a SoundQuest Bank, and an Excel file with the patch names for easy import and control from your DAW.
