Description
“Solo Wind Instruments” * consists of expressive patches optimized for use with a MIDI wind controllers such as Yamaha’s WX7/11 and Akai’s EWI series. These sounds have great musical depth—our philosophy is to enable maximum control for MIDI wind controller users.
But these don’t require a Wind Controller – just use your MIDI controller and send “Breath Control #2” to each instrument, and you have a killer bank of solo synthesizers – try it!
We carefully made each patch unique and characteristic. Sounds include “Lyricon 2,” “Heavy WX-7,” “Breath Organ” and more.
These sounds were originally designed by SSU for the TX81Z but sound fantastic in the DX7V 6-op engine.
