Description
The Platinum Collection is a modern, contemporary assortment of 32 Multi and 64 Single patches. A wide range of textures in the style of the D-50 and sample-type sounds are included, as well as Top 40 staples such as strings, brass, and analog synth sounds.
Some timbres are warm and rich, some are light and airy, and others are uniquely new. These new K1 textures are mood-evoking, yet still retain musical value. Almost all of the sounds are programmed to have an “effected” ambience built into the patches, with chorusing, tremolo, reverb and delay effects—all without using external signal processing. Our programming techniques result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from K1v.
Sounds include “Anastasia,” “NightBrass,” “GitrString,” “PickedBass” and many more. All originally programmed at SSU, now available for K1v.
We recommend starting with a patch bank of professionally programmed K1v voices, then learning how they work with SoundEngine’s own K1v Owner’s Manual. The K1v Owner’s Manual is a large collection of articles and step-by-step guides that teach how to get the most out of K1v, as well as synth programming in general. Check it out!
