The Aftermarket – K1 Sample Pack captures the essence of the K1 through deeply multi-sampled sounds, including some of the iconic factory presets and additional stellar sounds crafted by expert third-party programmers. The sample pack was created using SoundEngine’s detailed sampling methodology, utilizing a 24-bit A/D conversion via a PreSonus StudioLive console at a 48 kHz sample rate to ensure pristine audio quality. Post-recording processes involved meticulous editing and looping in Wavelab, then further refinement in Izotope RX7, resulting in a polished product.

The collection encompasses over 3,100 24-bit samples, and nearly 150 presets, with variations meticulously arranged within Logic Sample/EXS to maximize versatility and creative possibilities. For ease of use and accessibility, the sample pack is organized by sound type rather than mimicking the original K1 order. This thoughtful classification includes folders like “AP Acoustic Piano,” “GT Guitar,” and “KY Keyboard,” allowing users to locate the desired sound type quickly.
