K1v is a wonderful, free VST emulation of the Kawai K1 synthesizer. Taking everything from the classic Kawai and adding a ton of built-in sounds – it can be a classic 80’s style synthesizer in your kit. Almost 1000 vintage sounds, together with the price (free), it’s hard to beat. K1v is a project by a very talented software engineer named Nils Schnieder – there is no company connected to it. Because it’s an individual effortthe documentation available is somewhat sparse as a result. SoundEngine’s K1v Owner’s Manual aims to help with that.
